Sometimes when I go to the South Jetty in Venice, Florida the color of the water is absolutely breathtaking! This was one of the most beautiful colors I have ever seen the water. I actually had to reduce the saturation of the photo, it was really this bright aqua blue! I merged 2 photos together to create this panorama view of the South Jetty. The file size is 10552 x 3868 pixels so it can be printed large. Please click on the full resolution preview to see the details.

I took this photo from the North Jetty. You can see some of the boats going by. It's a fun place to sit and relax, watch the boats, and go fishing. I have seen dolphins and sharks here. On the right side of the photo you can see a blue building that serves food. This inlet opens to the Gulf of Mexico and faces west, so it is an incredible place to watch the sunset. It is a very popular place for tourists and locals to enjoy the water. When the waves are big enough this is where surfers come.
